COVID-19 Update
We at Midstate Veterinary Services are committed to the safety and security of our employees, clients and local communities. We all have been through a lot in the last few years, but are happy to be settling back into a more normal routine. Please note our following policies.
If you are not feeling well
- If you have been tested positive for COVID-19 or has had contact with anyone that has tested positive recently, please follow the local health department guidance on quarantine and isolation.
- If you feel sick or think you have a contagious illness of any kind, please reschedule your appointment, or if that is not possible, please consider sending someone else with your pet or we can offer you curbside service.
Masks
- We recommend surgical or higher grade masks for everyone's safety when in close confinement, but no longer require them. Please note that if you clearly are showing respiratory symptoms, the staff may request that you either mask up or consider curbside service for everyone's safety.
Drug Order - pick up
- If you are picking up medications or food, feel free to come in like normal. If however you'd prefer to call, we will still accommodate curbside pick up
We at Midstate truly value our clients and their loyalty to us and are doing our best to reciprocate by making sure that all animals in our care are still properly cared for. We would like the thank you all for your patience during this last few years. In this uncertain time, we must all be patient and work together to make sure our loved ones - both human and furry are safe and healthy. We are all in this together and together we will get through this. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call us.
Thank you.

At this time there animal infections with COVID-19 are considered rare and unlikely (cats being at higher risk than dogs). All cases have been from infected human to their pets, and we haven't seen any animals infecting humans. If you have been tested positive for COVID-19 it is recommended that someone else do the primary pet care and limit exposure to both family members both human and animal alike. But for additional information about how pets may be impacted by this disease, please follow the following links:
